This book would be best for primary or intermediate students. This book includes colorful illustrations and a little game of 'hide and seek' to keep the children engaged, along with many animals and insects one would find in a pond to help student see the habitat those animals live in. ( )

This story is very interactive and has the audience participate by looking for the missing duck. Even though the missing duck was never lost, simply hidden in each picture. I like how this book also promotes reaching out or asking for help. Mother duck needed help finding her missing duck so she asked the other pond animals for help. ( )

While I think this is a cute concept and has multiple educational applications, the illustrations do not impress me at all. I kind of feel like I could do it, and if I think that, it's not impressive. ( )
