This book uses great illustrations to show our place in the world. Stating in Maria's home , we are zoomed outward to see the her home state, the United States, and finally are placed in the vast universe.

The illustrations are magnificent. This book makes for a nice bedtime story because the text is short but the pictures really tell the story.

This would be an excellent book to use during a lesson on the solar system or in a geography lesson. It helps illustrate geographical locations and universal positions. ( )

I would use this book for k-3rd grade. This is a great book to show how the universe works. It goes from Maria's local address all the way through the solar system. A great way to teach the differece in states, countries, and the world.
