Kill Zone is a solid read if you’re looking for a military action book. There are high-stakes, bravery, lots of action scenes, and you feel like you're there with Swanson in enemy territory as he carries out his mission. ( ) At first it was hard to get into this book. It felt a bit fractured to me. It was hard keeping track of names and characters. The book picked up its pace with the start of the rescue mission and held my attention to the end. Scary to think that something like this could potentially happen. Probably not far off the mark on a lesser level given the private armies formed due to the Iraq/Afghanistan wars. Not a bad read. I grabbed Kill Zone as an impulse book at the library. For not having any expectations, this book did a wonderful job of keeping me reading till the end. A well written military action novel, Kill Zone was everything I hoped it would be; nothing more, nothing less. I do not doubt that this author's previous book will find its way onto my list in the future. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
