This is a wonderful book. It is a large format book filed with aerial photos of most major cities inthe United States. They date from the 1920's to the 1950's. It is fun to track changes in cities I have lived in. I've tried to discern the public transport network various cities used to have, particularly trolleys and elevated railways. The book is arranged from east to west. Some large cities like Boston and New York have several photos. ( )

Very large, even for a coffee table book. Gorgeous photos. All black-and-white. Coverage of West Coast is less interesting to me and maybe only a quarter of the book. ( )
