A pleasant film about a teenager who is a physics geek, and then discovers quite a talent for ice dancing.
Good characterisation, some humour, some quite tense mother-daughter scenes, and an inevitable resolution (this is Disney, after all). No actual princesses involved.
Recommended if you want something lightweight that's suitable for the whole family, with the proviso that it's unlikely to be of much interest to anyone younger than about nine or ten, unless they are passionate about skating.
