Hahahaha!" *reads more* There were some moments that felt like ridiculous plot twists on a soap opera, and the villains felt so 2D. It was the male character who kept me reading to the end though. He's just so damn likable (and lickable). The female character just seemed to be there as a foil, and feminists would probably gnash their teeth at her behavior. A little annoyed by the traditional lovers quarrel because of pride, where it's "fight first, listen to the explanation and make up with hot sex later", but the sweet and funny moments by Geirolf made up for it. 2 1/2 stars. Not as good as some of her Viking books. It didn't have the humor as much as the other books. Also the hero is too overbearing and the heroine lets him walk over her too easily especially after only knowing him for days. They fall in love too fast and it made the story too stupid. Still the chemistry between the two is good and the ending fun. A quick easy and light read. With a book description like this one has, how could I resist! This book sounded adorable, and it was all I hoped it would be. I don’t there is one of Sandra Hills Vikings I haven’t fallen in love with yet. Rolf was no different. I thought he was adorable. As with the others in the series, the book was entertaining. A light, funny read with an adorable alpha Viking. Love these guys. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
He wore nothing but a leather tunic, spoke in an ancient tongue . . . and he was standing in Professor Meredith Foster's living room. The medieval historian told herself he was part of a practical joke, but with his wide gold belt, callused hands, and the rabbit roasting in her fireplace, the brawny stranger seemed so . . . authentic. Suddenly Meredith was mesmerized by his bronzed, muscular form, and her body surrendered to the fantasy that Geirolf Ericsson really was a Viking from a thousand years ago, sent only to pleasure her. But as she tried to teach him to eat spaghetti and use a computer, she realized he knew an awful lot about the tenth century--and so little about this one. And as he helped her fulfill her grandfather's dream of re-creating a Viking ship, he awakened her to dreams of her own. Until she wondered if the hand of fate had thrust her into the loving arms of . . . The Last Viking Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |

I shouldn't bother reading these kinds of medieval, time-travel romance novels. I feel so... Uncomfortable when I read them.
Plus, the woman in this book is falling way too fast for the man. It just isn't believable. ( )
