They are really great to encourage reluctant readers, and although they are non-fiction the graphic novel format makes it an engaging book for students. ( ) Summary: This historic realism children’s book is written by Matt Doeden and illustrated by Charles Barnett. This book starts off in Boston with the locals and Samuel Adams protesting the tax on tea with no representation. This books gives some details of how the crowed reacted to Great Britain’s demands and how the start of the revolutionary war began. Personal Reaction: This book is an excellent beginner’s source of history. Most people do not know why and when the Boston Tea Party took place. Classroom Extension Ideas: 1. I would use this book to teach children the history of America. 2. I would also use this book the importance of standing up to your beliefs and protecting others. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
