This book is part ghost story, part coming of age novel looking at the protagonists relationship with her parents. Not the most amazing book Ive ever read, but good. I enjoyed the setting and pacing of the story. ( ) This book is about a girl who's father takes her to whales so he can do research. She find they will be sharing the house they are staying in with another family. The family they are staying with has sever family problems. After three days staying in the house the kids are so bored,so they go exploring. They find a old foundation of a house. Well in the cellar the see a ghost . They then investigate why the ghost might be there. I rated this 3 stares because it was good but it didn't have sparkle. This book was interesting because it had a little bit of history in it. It was an okay book. This book is definitely recommended for any reader whose interest in history and the supernatural pulls them into the fiction genre. I first picked it up years ago, but "In The Stone Circle" has managed to maintain a spooky, chill-raising, but equally mesmorizing place in my heart. Despite its short page number, Elizabeth Kimmel managed to capture the intensity of her characters' lives, and throw them right in the face of her readers.
