This was required reading for a leadership course and I just don't enjoy being told what to read and when. However, this is a really excellent, inspirational book and I am better for having read it. Very grateful for the experience and I hope to put into practice at least a few of Shakelton's principles. Must read for anyone in or aspiring to be in a leadership role. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Things I liked:
The story: I wasn't familiar with the Shackleton story and found it compelling.
Pictures: Some of the pictures in the book are well chosen and enhance the story.
Things I thought could be improved.
Management lessons: Just point lists of ideas that would have been enhanced by tighter integration with anecdotes from the main story.
