Better than vol 1. though I still feel like the story is little rushed. The art though, just amazing. Penciller's with a PHD in inking are just profound. ( )

A little too much grandiose speechifying on the part of the villains in this volume. Still like the series, and I loved the horn-breaking panels at the end . ( )

A demon raised by humans thwarts another apocalypse (maybe?).

This is 20% exposition, and 50% villains monologuing vaguely about their Terrible Destiny. It would be nice if Hellboy were more than a supporting character in his own book.

I pulled a random Hellboy book off the shelf and it seems to have been later in the series. Have to go back and read the books before this one, I suppose. ( )

It's getting to be a wonderfully creepy and weird universe and I want to read all the things™. Especially if they're going to randomly quote William Blake at me.
