Este livro começou o Primeiro Capítulo com uma promessa de ser interessante. No Segundo Capítulo, essa promessa não se cumpriu e no seguinte o livro revelou-se uma “seca”. Afinal, esta foi a realidade do resto do livro: uma escrita de difícil compreensão e de uma esterilidade tal que, após algumas páginas de leitura em diagonal, resolvi pô-lo de lado.

A very interesting history of political theology, and through it of the evolution of at least the Western world's view of and attitude toward religion, religious belief and religious tolerance. Classy book, well written, on an important subject. ( )
