21 months - the moral of this story find a kitty and trade it in for a new model... A puppy instead. I don't know why I can't keep from thinking this every time we read this story. You of course enjoy any Curious George story. ( )

We all know that George is always getting into trouble because of his curiosity. This time he goes to the vet with the man in the yellow hat. George wanders off in search of puppies and accidentally releases them all over the office! They are all eventually rounded up and everyone is happy in the end.
This is a great little book for readers who are ready to read more words on their own. There are a lot of words on each page to go along with the humorous illustrations, so this is not a book for beginner readers. However, if you can find a preschooler patient enough to listen, then it is also a great book for them because, as mentioned, the illustrations are fun.
I would recommend this book for my library (medium public library). ( )

This is a good example of fantasy because the main character is a monkey. Also, the main conflict of the story is that one of the puppies from a new litter is missing, which George eventually finds. ( )
