Quite a unique book--funny, terrifying, curious, and thought provoking. Stylistically it reminded me of "Post Office" by Burroughs. ( )

Awesome aztec versus nazi scene. Wished the plot stayed more in the alternate reality instead of going back and forth. Ends kind of disapointingly. ( )

Beyond intriguing to mind-bending, in a very good way, were Mumbo Jumbo by Ishmael Reed and Atomik Aztex by Sesshu Foster. Both novels are highly stylized and require a lot of attention, but were, I thought, well worth it. I'm still thinking about both of them.

I love this book. Very influenced by Ishmael Reed is my guess, if you like Reed's stuff check this out.
