[This is just for the short story, Paul's Case.] Paul is a turn-of-the-century high school kid who is dizzy for the world of theater and fine hotels and restaurants. He hates his life, and escapes to this other world every chance he can. A wonderful movie was made of the story, with Eric Roberts being surprisingly great in the role.
