The volume I read only had Boy's Life.
Many authors write books, a special few tell stories. Boy's Life is a wonderful story about the year 1964 in Cory Mackenson's life in Zephyr Alabama. A town that doesn't exist today- no big box stores, no fast food restaurants, but the book has thrills, and mystery, and suspense, and humor. This is a rare wonderful book to read for the summer. I've only read "Boys Life," and want to read "Gone South." "Boys Life" is a must-read - the kind of book you take people by the lapels and insist they read it right NOW! ( )

This is one of my all time favorites. I love how the coming of age story is wrapped up in a neat package with life lessons about growing up in the era of segregation. It's part mystery, part action and excitement mixed with a little fantasy and coming of age. It is a great story that I share with everyone. ( )

Boy's Life is a classic. Gone South is okay--I enjoyed it but wasn't over the moon about it. ( )

Boy's Life. A story everyone should read. A wonderful tale, full of young hearted adventure,murder mystery,action, humor ,first romance and a little horror thrown in. this book has it all. Funny ,quirky characters..you'll laugh you'll cry....one of the most enjoyable books I've read!! Gone South...good read also..fast and funny!!! ( )
