The book starts off with an illustration of people being drawn wondering what the moon is like, and then as we turn the page we see actual pictures of the moon itself. Each page gives us more information about the moon and about what it was like for the astronauts to discover and walk on the moon. I enjoyed how the book had actual pictures of the moon being discovered and cartoon illustrations as well. The moon is an amazing thing and this book will help readers get a greater sense of how amazing the moon truly is. The sentences in this book are short and concise, so it would be a good book for a student to read on their own. This book answers a lot of questions about the moon in a straightforward manner that could strike the readers attention. The book begins by talking about what people think the moon looks like from earth. Then the book takes a closer look at the moon and goes into extreme detail. It tells young people all that we have learned about the moon so far through the trips we have taken. There are both illustrations in this book as well as real photographs. At the end of the book there are activities as well as websites for the reader to visit to learn more about the moon. This is imperative since after reading this book, many readers may find themselves thirsty for more information. This is a wonderful and very educational book about all the aspects of the moon. I know little kids love to stare up at the moon and let their imaginations run wild. Space is such an interesting thing because it goes on forever and their is still so much left unknown. Kids will love exploring this book and reading about people who have been to the moon. They'll imagine themselves on the moon and if you encourage them to follow their dreams, this book just may spark their interests in becoming astronauts. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
