I think this is a really good project for kids. I think it would be so fun to have a whole lesson based off of this book. I would read it and then we would spend a week or so tackling the main ideas with small different little projects I loved it ( )

Caleb has a hard time coming up with a way to symbolize patriotism for Presidents' Day until he realizes that his dad, who is away from home in the military, is what patriotism is all about. ( )
