It is one of the beginning stories of Winnie the Pooh & Christopher Robin as told by Christopher Robin's parent. It was unclear whether it was mom or dad...but that didn't really matter. Christopher Robin comes downstairs dragging his stuffed animal "Winnie the Pooh" and he wants a story before his bathtime and his bedtime. So the parent tells him one. Winnie the Pooh is always on the lookout for honey. His first clue in this story is the bees that are swarming at the top of one particular tree. There must be honey at the top of that tree. So, Winnie the Pooh immediately gets to work on how to get up there to get that honey without making the bees Suspicious. Christopher Robin helps by providing Winnie the Pooh some tools like a balloon, an Umbrella, and some string. I thoroughly enjoyed the creativity of Winnie the Pooh when he rolled around in the mud to make himself look like a dark cloud to the bees when he hoisted himself up with the balloon. The book that I have is very small. It's one of those give away books you get when you go to a fast food place and order a kids meal. The print is very small and the pictures although drawn very well are also small. This is not a book that is meant to be read by a young reader. This is a book that a parent would read as a bedtime story to the young reader. But it was enjoyable and I do recommend it. Summary: One morning, Pooh asked Christopher Robin if he had a balloon. Pooh wants to get some honey. So Pooh and Christopher Robin chose a blue balloon. While Christopher Robin blew up the balloon, Pooh went and rolled in the mud until he was black. He rolled in the mud to look like a black cloud in the sky. Christopher Robin was sent with an umbrella to say it looks like rain. Soon the bees became suspicious about Pooh. Pooh soon realized that they were the wrong type of bees and he wanted to come down. So he had Christopher Robin shoot the balloon down with his gun. Personal Belief: This is one of these books that are always going to be on my bookshelves. This book was extremely short but informational. Extension: This book would be used to help student with their writing and imagination strategies. This could be taught for the students as a minilesson about how somethings that seem to look like something that they are. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
