Summary:
This book is a lesson on making good choices. Cowboy Larry has to choose whether he will take the long hard road, or if he will cheat and take the easy road during his cattle-drive test.
Personal Reaction:
This is a very good story about learning right from wrong and the choices that we make. I think it is a wonderful book to read to the class.
Extensions:
1) The students will write, in their journals, about the way that they would have handled the situation that Cowboy Larry was in.
2) The students will draw a picture from there favorite part of the book, and present it to the class. (
