Which, is quite okay! I love that Lionni uses a flea! What an odd creature to create a story about? It has a bit of truth to it. Fleas can move around in many different places. Like in other stories, Lionni provides some information about the things in his story. He shows the duck in the water. The mole underground. He likes to use animals in his stories. It was interesting to read that he loved nature and had quite a bit of small animals for pets. ( )

A Flea Story is about two fleas who live on a dog. One of them always wants to go and see the world and the other one wants to stay on the dog. This story could teach children that it's important to make many experiences, to travel, and to see new things.
