I liked the key messages of doing all things in moderation, and allowing little cheat days whether it’s on a diet, or exercise plan. The book really does have some good messaging in it, which is another reason I wished the sections were a bit more fleshed out. While each section gives an overview, because the coverage of the topics in the book is so broad, the reader would need to seek outside resources to implement the changes suggested in any section. More detail would have made it even better. The section on creating an action plan was well done. The emphasis on making small, doable changes was something I liked.
Predictably, given the title, there is frequent cursing, sometimes five swear words per page. This is a book you should pick up with the understanding there's going to be lots of swearing--if that's your thing, you're golden. Overall, this is a book with good messages and an upbeat tone. 5/5 stars. ( )
