Attualmente non vi sono conversazioni su questo libro. the story is about Yusuke Urameshi who is a tough delinquent and doesn't follow orders. But one day he saves a little kid from getting run over! He now has a second chance to come back to live by doing good deed....as a ghost. He helps a little boy, and teenage girl and a old man. There not the same but they have one thing in common, they need to let go. My opinion on the book is that it is a awesome book that teach's a lesson to let go. Without letting go, you can never move on. This book has humor and a lesson to teach. I give this book five stars. and that is my opinion on this book. I have been a fan of this series for a long time, and no matter how many times I watch the anime It will never stop being fascinating. Thought I have watched the anime, more times than I would like to admit. This is the first time I have gotten around to reading the manga. Why now? shouts the masses I don't know, I just got that itch. There are so many times that the anime is extremely different then the manga, I just had to know. I love this manga, though the beginning does start out a lot slower, then the anime, there isn’t much difference. That doesn’t bother me; I enjoyed those little bits of fluff that wasn't present in the anime. The only thing that annoyed me was the art work. Not as clean, and it looked, bad. But as the story moves on, and you get deeper into the other volumes, it gets better. Over all I am happy to finally get around to reading that amazing story. It's a heart string puller that’s for sure. There are so many feel moments in the first few chapters that my eyes watered a few times. I highly recommend this manga, even if you've never read a manga in your life, I guarantee that this story will draw you in, capture your feels and have you cheering for Yusuke with all your mite. Happy Reading -Emily If you haven't read this series, you're missing out! The anime version that was on cartoon network in the 90's was great but the manga is so much better! The story does stray from the original spirit detective/ghost hunter idea and ends up leaning more towards a dragon ball z fighting storyline which is a bit of a letdown. I always thought it would have been interesting to see where the author would have taken the story if he stuck with his original idea. The main cast is very believable and its easy to become emotionally invested in each of the main characters very early on. Also, the villains are extremely well written and are never black and white. The fighting never seems excessive and unlike a lot of current manga/anime, YuYu Hakusho is filler free! My only complaint is that I would have loved to have some prequels or maybe a sequel taking place years after the ending. If you're looking for a series to read (and reread) pick these up! I enjoyed watching Yuyu Hakusho on Cartoon Network, much more so before it got bogged down in endless arena fighting. According to the book, the title means 'Ghost Files'. Yusuke, the boy who died before his time, gets to spend this entire volume as a ghost. The back cover says there are stories in here which didn't appear in the TV series. In the scenes which didn't get adapted into anime, Yusuke actively aids a bullied child facing the loss of his beloved old dog and the ghost of a girl who died of an illness before she could keep an appointment with her boyfriend. He's also witness to a tanuki using his magic to help an old man who saved his life when he was a baby. What Yusuke did to the boyfriend made me laugh. There are plenty of unnamed junior high students who like to bully and/or fight. One of the teachers at Yusuke's school is truly despicable. Yusuke's mother loves him, but she's very irresponsible. I think one of the stunts she pulls in this volume should count as criminal negligence. Yusuke has a chance to return to life. Unfortunately for him, he hasn't been told the details of the seemingly easy task he's been given. If he does the task correctly, hurrah! If he doesn't, he could easily lose body and soul. For those who enjoy fisticuffs, you'll find plenty. If you're more interested in character interaction, you won't feel left out. This is one of those translated manga that keeps the original orientation, so we read the pages from right to left and from what we westerners would consider from back to front. It may seem a bit odd at first, but one can get used to it. I like the art and some of the main characters, which kept me reading when I meant only to peek now and read later. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
