Questa recensione è stata scritta per Recensori in anteprima di LibraryThing. Son of Spheres is an interesting book and fun to read, but you have to put aside everything you know about the world and adopt another cosmology. The book is very well written with interesting characters. Ex-Air Force Pilot Will Leonhardt is a troubled character and has been drawn out of retirement with a cash incentive. There is also a very light romance. Questa recensione è stata scritta per Recensori in anteprima di LibraryThing. This clandestine mission to the moon had me seriously considering geocentrism’s validity. I am going to chalk that up to Walker Larson’s research and writing prowess rather than to my own gullibility. Whatever your leanings, you will find yourself wanting the skeptical Will Leonhardt, a retired fighter pilot with an inner void to rival that of the cosmos, to make it further into the blue than ever before. Will comes to find that the search for truth isn’t championed by everyone and the ramifications make for an engrossing read. This would easily transition into a movie that I’d pay to watch. Song of Spheres did not disappoint. Being unable to predict what would happen next, I was free to sit back and enjoy the ride and what a ride it was. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

An intriguing story of those who set out to prove that the Sun orbits the Earth, by means of tests carried out on the moon, and the powers ranged against them to ensure that the truth never gets out and destroys all we think we know.
That many twists and turns it is like the biggest steel spring you can think of, with a dash of romance thrown in to soften the storyline.
Well written and thought provoking …. What if… No couldn’t be. ( )
