This book is a poem book that has a different letter on each page with a poem to go with the letter. I would read this book to students to help with understanding poems. I really liked this book because it definitely is a great learning book for the targeting age. The book's pictures are really fun and this book makes learning the alphabet fun. Each page is devoted to it’s own letter, and for every letter there is a poem. For example, one page says “E for elevator”,” which was then followed by a definition in the format of a poem. This really is a poetry book and the alphabet and the purpose of the book is for young readers to learn a fun way about the alphabet and poetry. The illustrations are really big, which will definitely appeal to younger children. Also, this book shows a different style of writing not only because it has poetry, but also because the lines and style of the writing are different. The book focuses on the alphabet, poetry, and vocabulary. ( )
