On February 11, 1860, the first published biography of Abraham Lincoln appeared on the front page of The Chester County Times. It was written and published at what is now called The Lincoln Building in downtown West Chester, Pennsylvania. This biography is said to have ultimately influenced one million voters, propelling Lincoln towards the presidency.
