I just absolutely adore Emily Carroll, her art is incredible and this story was both haunting and horrifying. ( )

This book sounded good for the horror fan in me, but it turned out to be much more than that. The horror part of the graphic was great. Even though the book's focus was on horror, there was fantasy and a bit of mystery thrown in. Abby, has married David after his wife dies of Cancer, or so she thinks. David has lied many times about what has happened to his first wife. Also, she is now the stepmother to Crystal. Abby doesn't seem to be happy with her life or being a mother figure. That changes when things take a turn. Abby starts seeing and talking to Sheila, David's first wife. What she finds out about Sheila, and herself, changes her life. The end is amazing. You will probably have to read it a couple times to figure it out. I don't want to spoil what happens, so you'll just have to read it. I really loved this story, and the images were beautiful. ( )

LOL! Well that's messed up in a horrific and yet delightful way. Creepy fun. ( )

This was a weird book but interesting. A girl marries a man already with a daughter who tells her that his previous wife died of cancer. When they move to the house by the lake, strange things start happening with the ghost of his late wife. Good graphics and use of color throughout is wonderful. Ambiguous ending that left me scratching my head. ( )
