A very simple, but effective, concept book abut verbs, Each page has a new verb in which you can do to "It". For example, "Kick It, Lift It, Move It, Nail It." For young students learning about verbs, I think this would be a fun, simple concept book to use with them. ( )

I think this is a great book, not only for an English class, but also for a science class. the verbs are great to act out and tying it with a science class to make an experiment out of verbs would be a great idea. The book really helps with an understanding of verbs, as being something that you can do, and you can actually physically do these things with the children as you are reading to them. ( )

This would be a good book for grades 1-3. This book uses a common word every child hears with 26 different verbs used with them. I could use this book to teach children what verbs are. I can give them words from the book. Then they can make sentences by adding a noun. For example: "Sarah fixed it" instead of just "Fix it" like the book says. ( )
