This is James Wyman and Ella Delacourt's story. I was very glad to see that James didn't give up what he had been waiting ten years to achieve. He is all dominant alpha male. James maybe younger than Ella but in many ways he is more mature and confident. He isn't afraid of what society or friends might think. I was glad that he was firm and unwavering in his stance on getting Ella to accept her desires and needs.

Ella I guess is a product of her times. She is afraid and ashamed of what her body wants and needs. She is also a Class A Bitch most of the time. For the most part she is very hard to like for most of the book. When she starts to realize that James might be right about her desires she does start to loosen up and enjoy what is happening. It doesn't help that some of her friends seem set to make life more difficult for her.

There is more Dominant and submission aspects in this book. It is like Ms. Leigh gets a little more comfortable writing about this type of relationship with each story. These characters are likable for the most part and of course we get an introduction to Saxon in this book. Very nice. Ms. Leigh can also write some really steamy sex scenes which is always a big plus. ( )
