This book at first seems like it is a little harsh to read to younger students. At the beginning it seems like the little rabbits are about to be eaten by a fox. As the story goes on the readers see that it is actually the rabbits mother calling them for dinnertime. It has a suspicious plot throughout the whole story. At the end it teaches the lesson of listening the first time to your parents are to another adult. It also show the lesson of the dangers that are out in that world that can harm us. ( )

"Dinnertime!" This is a story chock full of repetition and counting, both of which I feel are great to use in stories. Repetition allows young readers to notice and memorize words. Counting whether doing it normally or saying them backwards allows children to familiarize themselves with numbers. ( )

This book is about a hungry fox who is looking for rabbits to eat. One by one the rabbits escape and the fox is left hungry. The pictures are good and the book is very repetitious. It is a cute book. ( )
