This is a funny book to teach students about punctuation. Although this book specifically focuses on apostrophes, it shows students how using punctuation in the correct places can make meaning clear or change the meaning of a sentence. Looking at the differences in meaning of the same sentence with different apostrophe placement can have funny results. This book can also be interactive and be turned into a lesson where the students write their own sentenses that can have two different meanings when using two different sets of puntuation. ( )

The Girl's Like Spaghetti is a great book when it comes to showing how to write complex sentences in the correct format. The book illustrates the differences between the uses of the apostrophes and semicolons. This is great for 3rd grade to college level students. ( )

This book shows two different sentences, one with apostrophes and one without and how the apostrophes change the meaning of the sentences. This book would be a good review to do with students. I could use this book to clarify the correct way to use apostrophes. ( )

This book would be good for students struggling with grammar, most importantly, apostrophes. This book shows two forms of the same sentence, one with apostrophes and one without. This helps the student to see how apostrophes can change a sentence. ( )

At first I was going to dock this book a star because I didn't think it really explained the difference too clearly where a child could understand why the illustration was different with a change in the placement of a apostrophe. Then clearly at the end of the book it explains every single page and what the placement of the apostrophe does to the meaning of the words. I like that this is a silly looking book that helps to make clear an important and often confusing subject and as a teacher you can really manage how complicated you want to get explaining the illustrations based on the sentences.
