This is not my world, but if I was to enter it, I would be a dom, rather than a sub. And yet, for the first time, reading this book, I could see the appeal of the sub - and she does it by giving us a woman who operates as a Dom, and a fierce, icy one at that. Marguerite uses BDSM and its formality as a form of control, which allows her sexual expression, though she rarely climaxes, she certainly dominates. But as her relationship with uber dom Tyler deepens, so does the possibility for true intimacy between them. It's a wonderful, passionate, romance, and a definite keeper for me.
