I haven't read all of his books, yet, so I can't be totally sure, but damned it might just be! Just like the title suggests, there are no limits to what one can think, and Seuss expertly illuminates a bevy of whimsically impossible thoughts through his charmingly rhymed language and carefully constructed images. Some of the wording is a touch awkward and he lets the craziness of the ideas overpower any need for linguistic structure, but I think that the illustrations more than make up for any shortcomings. We are treated to a whole new range of imaginary creatures and landscapes, all depicted by Seuss' trademark style of clashingly bright colours. Considering how strong the images are in terms of inspiration, I wonder how many children over the years have used them as the basis to create a wholy new story - eschewing Seuss' narration entirely in favour of new thinks! This book is for ages 4-8. It teaches children of the many ways they can think. It allows them to expand their thinking. It as well incorporates a lot of color which makes them connect their thoughts to something. It's written in a poetry format which is easier for children to read through since it all rhymes. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione
