I had recently enjoyed the Eldar fluff in the Fracture of Biel-Tan book, so with the launch of this latest codex I thought that now would be a good time to dive a bit deeper. My Eldar knowledge is based around Rogue Trader, the Jes Goodwin article that introduced the 2nd ed. range, and a few oddments of fluff picked up via WD since then, so it was fun to immerse myself in a faction I hadn't previously thought much of. This is a big old codex, and covers Craftworlds, Harlequins, and Ynnari. There's lots of fluff, history and politics and all the great background stuff you'd expect. As a newcomer this was great. As if I need a new project! ( )
