La Torre non era meno implacabile della Ruota stessa nelle sue tessiture. In entrambi i casi i fili erano tante vite umane e il disegno che componevano era più importante dei singoli componenti. (115)
Ma il correttore di bozze della Fanucci era un ex addetto alla bonifica dell'Agro Pontino? oppure un ex raccoglitore di tabacco nella bassa veronese? oppure un ex lanciatore di sassi piatti sul Lago Titicaca? oppure un ex vigile del fuoco nella Terra dei Fuochi? sicuramente non un correttore di bozze!
Piacevole. Ho estratto il primo volume della saga per la sfida Randomly, e visto che questo è il prequel ho voluto fermarmi per leggerlo prima.
Alcune cose vengono forse date per scontate, perché pensate per chi conosce già gli altri libri e all'inizio ho avuto l'impressione che venissero lanciati nomi di popoli un po' a caso (della serie "guardacheffigo il mio Worldbuilding!"), ma la storia è abbastanza interessante.
