3.5 stars but rounding up because I enjoyed reading this for the most part.

I really enjoy reverse harem so I was excited to read this. I had heard good things about this book and after reading a sort of disappointing rock star reverse harem, I was really hoping to like this. For the most part I did like it. I agree with reviewers that say that this book is a bit long. It read pretty quickly but there was some repetition and pacing issues that had me wishing it was a bit shorter, or at least laid out differently. The first sex scene kind of came as a surprise to me because I didn't think it fit in that point of the story. There were a lot of different threads here that I think could have been simplified a bit and it would have been a more streamlined story.

The relationship was fun in this book and I mostly liked the dynamic. I don't really like the rock star persona in general so the beginning of this when the guys were playing into that character type, I didn't love it but as the book went on and we got to know all the characters better, I started to really like them. I liked the dynamics with Braxton and with each other. I always like when one or more of the guys is bisexual or has feelings for another guy because it's a relationship dynamic I prefer and I feel like it makes the relationship feel more connected so I was happy to see that here. I also liked the place they all ended up in the end. The conflict around Jericho wasn't my favorite just because I didn't feel like it was as big of a deal as they made it out to be but otherwise I really enjoyed the second half of this book.

I'm happy I enjoyed this book and I would be interested in reading more from this author. I've heard good and bad things about some of her other books but I would love to read them for myself and I see if I like them. I would recommend this if you enjoy reverse harem and want a bit of a longer book. ( )
