I Carry Your Heart was a very emotional read! An almost unbelievable love story that is revealed to a granddaughter when she is given the task of cleaning out her beloved deceased grandmother’s house. ( )

This is a sweet story of a granddaughter becoming closer to her grandmother after the sudden passing of her grandmother. There were times that I found the dialogue trite and shallow, but overall enjoyed the arch of the story. The digital version I read needs the attention of a good proofreader for punctuation errors. ( )

My Assessment:

'I Carry Your Heart' was quite a read, and by the end of the story, I was in tears after all was said and done. The story has an explanation that will give the reader a better understanding of Abby's and Theo's relationship. Was this the right thing for these two to do as they did? Well, that depends on how well one can define, right? However, if things had worked out as Abby had planned by the end of her life, maybe things would have worked out differently for the two. Oh well, we can only deal with what did happen, and from all that had gone on, things did...well, I will stop here and say you will have to pick up this excellent read and see how well the author brings it all out to the reader.

I really enjoyed this story, easy to read and difficult to put down. A mystery, a love story, sacrifice, commitment, family tension. All the characters beautifully portrayed and the varied emotional roller coasters expertly crafted. ( )

I loved this book. It was well written. I found myself crying at different scenes of this book, from start to finish. I recommend reading. ( )
