The three sisters have become friends and I feel like I have watched them grow up before my eyes. Our last visit is with Windy. She has been through a lot but I’m happy that her precious baby girl is now here. Windy’s life is changed forever as she takes a look at those innocent eyes and knows what unconditional love is. Windy is trying so hard to do everything on her own, but at some point she needs to ask for help. It’s not easy raising a baby on your own but Windy seems determined that she can do it. I wonder what she is trying to prove? The author jars readers with an unexpected visitor. I was so shocked I gasped when the person was revealed. This is going to change so many lives. Oh I couldn’t wait to see when the fireworks would start in the family. Well done to the author for putting in a clever plot twist. I love the time period of the 70s and the author does a great job of having the characters recreate the 70s vibe. I cracked up when Kris’s cousin comes to visit. He is dodging the draft and having a good time smoking pot. Kris is not happy with his cousin and sure gets mad when he starts to talk to Windy. Boy does Kris have it bad for her. The banter between him and Windy is entertaining and I enjoyed watching them pick at each other. If only the trouble his cousin has gotten into doesn’t come back on Kris, maybe be can concentrate on his future. The conflict between sisters and other family members escalates as a painful past is discussed. I liked the raw emotions from each of the sisters as they shared their heart. Windy realizes she needs to soften her heart and asks God for help. Her honesty is painful but she knows she needs to forgive a certain person. The story flows very well as Kris and Windy get to know each other better. There is still another surprise heading Windy’s way that will find several people questioning their future. The ups and downs in the story show how broken relationships can heal with God’s help. I am very sad to say goodbye to the girls but the author leaves us with a beautiful story filled with laughter, miracles and a family that has grown together with unconditional love. I received a copy of this book from Celebrate Lit. The review is my own opinion. nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Kris has kept a secret for years from his family, and even women he has dated, He struggles with determining if it is worth it to share it with Windy. The reappearance of Windy’s mother adds an interesting tension to the story. I also love seeing how the relationships between the sister change through dating, fiancés, children, and marriages. So check out this story for yourself.
