Eloise doesn't like to cook, but she does like to break things, and when Nanny and Cook teach Eloise to make eggs, she gets to break them. But it ends up a big, broken mess, and Eloise blithely concludes that she will just call for room service. ( ) A funny story that the author brings to life for the reader when Eloise attempts to learn how to cook. Rather, she likes to break things more than anything, so when she finds out she will break eggs, she gets excited, but maybe too excited. Nanny tries to teach Eloise how to cook so she can learn to feed herself, but how will she do that if she can not avoid breaking everything, including the plate and bowl she broke in the kitchen. Eloise manages to find a way to make sure she eats, she orders room service, a cute funny ending to the story to wrap up her chaos. Eloise Breaks Some Eggs by Kay Thompson is a funny transition book for children learning to read. The story is about Eloise who lives in a hotel and has cooking lessons one day. The lessons do not go quite as her nanny had planned. It is a great story for children because it will make them laugh. The illustrations are bright and help the reader understand the text. One aspect of the book that a teacher could focus on is dialogue. The book contains much dialogue from Eloise and others. I think this is a fun story that kids will enjoy! nessuna recensione | aggiungi una recensione

Eloise's cooking lesson with Nanny and Cook is disastrous--or would be, if Eloise could not order room service. Non sono state trovate descrizioni di biblioteche |
