Growing Out is a six-season curriculum (13 lessons each) that takes adults from becoming disciples of Jesus to disciplers of others in Jesus. The Growing Out series... Presents a model of spiritual formation that is biblical, simple, and reproducible. It's not a "how-to-train" manual. It's a way to learn, together, how to grow in Jesus--and how to help others grow. Is deep & completely doable. It's comprehensive without being overwhelming because the learning happens in a relational, engaging, and fun way. Builds Christians from the foundation up! Growing Out gets newer Christians growing and mature Christians engaged--so they can go back and grow others. Equips new & long-time Christians to prepare...then reach out to people in their congregation, neighborhood, and workplace. Group members will not only discover new ways to live out their faith--they'll also discover truths they thought they understood in brand-new ways! Includes a creative variety of learner-centered, Bible-based activities that guide members as they help each other grow closer to Jesus. Great for adult Sunday school, small groups, one-on-one discipleship, church plants wanting to create vision & community, and church leaders trying to move from "me" to "we." Season 2, Growing in Character helps group members discover how to live out a faith that's visible to others. They'll take their faith and put it into action--starting with the most important relationships they have. They'll learn how to deal with anger and stress issues, and give them over to God. Members will explore how to handle money--and everything else God has given them. And, they'll learn how to be more open in their relationships with others--and live out their entire lives with the integrity Jesus called them to have!
