 I'm sorry this book was not for me. I never got into it and it just became more boring to me. I tried to get interested, but never really did. The story of sailing with a cat intrigued me since I am a cat owner, but even that was not enough. I'm not sure how to improve the story for me and I can just say this wasn't a good read for me. This is most definitely a Travelogue with Adventures and sometimes Misadventure.
The author has described in detail his seafaring experiences while traveling the seas while in Mexico, multiple Caribbean islands and Galapagos Islands. In the end, he explains some details are fictionalized.
Anyone who is remotely and naively interested in buying a sailboat, and sailing off into wild blue ocean seeking sunsets and fun will pause after reading this. It is darn hard work and takes incredible skill and tenacity to travel the high seas.
