I have thoroughly enjoyed working my way through this series this year. Meeting each of these roommates and watching them fall in love has been such a wonderfully pleasant distraction. I love these roommates and the women that have found a place in their lives. Of course, I was excited to pick up this final novel in the series and see how things are working out for each of the couples. I didn’t like this one nearly as much as I did the other books in the series but I did enjoy it enough to read it cover to cover in a single day.

In this book, we get to see a proposal, a pregnancy, a wedding, and a pact. Each couple takes center stage for a portion of the book but also appear in the other sections since they are all still incredibly close friends. I wouldn’t say that there were any real surprises in the book but it was still a lot of fun to read. This book had all of the humor, romance, and friendship bonds that I have grown to expect from the series. The creepy doll that links the stories was a little strange in my opinion but didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the book.

I would recommend this book to others. I would recommend reading this book after the other books in the series if at all possible since having some background on the various couples would be beneficial. I will definitely be reading more of this author’s work very soon.

Honestly this book is closer to 2 stars and the only reason it has 3 is out of respect for the characters that I ADORED before.

The book is pretty basic and needlessly angsty. The only redeeming quality was the Doll ( which I enjoyed throughly )

I waited for The Legacy for a long time but, again , it wasn't worth the wait. ( )

De finale. Door: Elle Kennedy.

De finale dat zijn 4 novelles in één boek. De vier koppels: Hannah en Garrett, Logan en Grace, Allie en Dean én Sabrina en Tucker uit de Off Campus-serie komen elk nog eens aan bod. Als trouwe Kennedy fan vraag je je natuurlijk af wat er met je favoriete koppels gebeurt na het aflopen van de serie, in De finale krijg je antwoorden.

Net als in elke toegift, denk maar aan A year in the life (Gilmore girls), krijg je meer én minder dan je verwacht. Je kijkt er giga hard naar uit en daardoor word je sowieso wat teleurgesteld. Maar het geeft ook een fijn gevoel om je vertrouwde personages terug te zien (lezen).

Elle Kennedy heeft er ook voor gezorgd dat het 4 totaal verschillende, spannende novelles zijn, met elk een kleine portie seks (minder dan we van haar gewend zijn) én een terugkerende grap (Alexander). Het is niet het allerbeste wat ze al geschreven heeft en ik zou ook niet met dit boek beginnen als je nog niets van haar gelezen hebt (begin dan met De deal) maar voor de fans is het een geweldige toegift.

Ik kijk al uit naar een volgende sexy reeks van haar. Ik las dat een paar fans smeken om een queer-boek, lijkt me helemaal geweldig! ( )

No cause wtf was that ending. Like we read the novella so we can get an ending and u leave us on a cliffhanger like wtf?? Anyways… I really liked the book. Each of their parts were awesome. I’m really happy we got this novella but I feel like it could’ve been better. ( )

I was a little worried about jumping into this as I just love all of these characters so much. I am not one to re-read and since it has been so long since I read this series, I did go through and try to make notes and remind myself of each character.

Some parts were better than others. I really liked how we get to see that all of the players are still friends after all this time.

Logan and Grace were just ok. I was not impressed right off the bat with them being the start of the book. I do not really think it brought much to their story. I also do not love how they keep the secret from all of their friends.

I enjoyed Dean and Allie a little more. I found myself grinning like I did when first learning about these characters. Allie is just as stubborn as always, but I love how they do not give up on each other. I still love Dean!

Tucker and Sabrina was again just ok. Again, it did not do much for me and I found myself drifting when reading.

I have seen several reviews around Hannah and Garrett, but I liked it

I also did not care about the doll at all.

Overall, I enjoyed this for what it is. If it was following different characters I would probably give it a lower star rating. However; I enjoyed it and still loved jumping into this crazy fun world ( )
