***My thoughts***
.... I was tense the whole time? It was riveting and when my partner tried to steal my snacks I didn't even stopped reading. Just yanked my snacks back while saying no.

Bit of a shame that Eve was mentioned. Because it felt out of place I was confused for a moment and thought: ''When did Sister became Eve.''

Sister could…also…lie.

She ground rocks into dust, trying to wrap her guileless programming around the concept. Eve had had the knowledge of good and evil handed to her, but Sister had to create it for herself from first principles, and it went slowly.

All in all a very good story. Felt a bit open ended but not enough to make me feel like I was cheated out of something.

Good but not great - the concepts are interesting, the situations are peculiar enough I had a hard time seeing how things were going. Sister's fears about learning about lying are very interesting. I'd like to see more of these two. From the Hugo packet. ( )
