While pursuing a story, reporter Trinity Lockhart finds herself in danger. She winds up going to the only law enforcement agent she feels comfortable reaching out to, FBI agent Kyle Richards. Needing additional help to keep Trinity safe, Kyle reaches out to his friends at Protection, Inc to protect her. I loved getting to see Carissa and the other characters from an earlier book in this series.

I found it interesting that Trinity’s father was a thief. Containing danger, pursuing the story, and figuring out the mastermind behind everything kept me interested while reading this book.

I loved how Trinity sensed the feelings between Dillon and Sally. I look forward to reading their story when it comes out. So check out this book for yourself.

Trouble with a capital T. Nobody on the right side of the law much cares for TV news reporter Trinity Lockhart of KXB News in Seattle. So when this thief’s daughter gets an anonymous tip about stolen art at a prestigious art gallery in Seattle and turns to
FBI Special Agent Kyle Richards for help, he balks. As does Protection, Inc, the ex-police group he recruits to protect her and the police (did I mention Trinity greatly distrusts the police?!).
At first, I had a hard time caring about Trinity and Kyle. But by 40% the way through, the action begins to build and I was thoroughly invested, skillfully drawn in by Kimberly Rose Johnson’s slow build romance and carefully unpeeling of Trinity’s real personality. Just like Kyle, I found myself unable to resist the gradual appeal of this deepening, dangerous mystery.
It was fun to see characters from previous books and feel the great family camaraderie established between the Protection, Inc. group members. Read these books, Protection, Inc, in the order they are written to get the full effect of this novel. Recommended.

This had a good amount of romance and I really enjoyed the action. Every time I turned a page there was something else happening. I really enjoyed the two main characters. I also liked reading about the minor characters that work for Protection Inc. I am hoping that many of them get their own stories sometime soon. I received a copy of this book from Celebratelit for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will. ( )

If you haven’t read any of this author’s books, you are missing out. She delivers intrigue, adventure, flawed characters and action that never stops. I was so frustrated with Trinity at times that I wanted to tell Kyle to walk away from her. She is a reporter but she sure doesn’t like answering questions. She leaves out details that are important to help keep her safe. I think she was more interested in getting her big story. She is a good character though as we see hints of her past that explains her mistrust of police. Guess she needs to work on that trust issue if she wants Kyle and his friends to protect her.

I liked learning about Trinity’s job as a reporter. The author does a good job of detailing her job which includes very long hours and little time to think about eating. Her thirst for a story may just cost her big if she isn’t careful. I often wonder how safe it is to go meet informants alone. The news world seems dangerous at times and the hours are not the best.

Kyle is a wonderful addition to the story. His bravery and faith see him through a heart pounding adventure as he tries to keep Trinity safe. It was nice to have the Protection Inc. back in the picture. This group really steps up to help Kyle and it is nice to see their bond. It is a great story with a few twists that kept me reading as fast as I could. We get a look into the art world and how people will do anything for profit. I liked how Trinity and Kyle became close and witnessing Trinity learn to trust others and God. It’s a great story that shows how trusting can help you open up to others and learn what unconditional love is.

Needless to say, this can affect her ability to work with them to get all the details she needs to get the truth out there. While researching her latest story, her life and safety come crashing down around her.

Protection Inc. once again is called into service while the various law enforcement agencies work to find out who is causing the tragic accidents, ransacked apartments and more. What is behind the attempted murder? Trust is such a huge issue for Trinity - can she possibly learn that God and others are trustworthy?
