I enjoyed reading the overview about the GRE general test. I think the information about exactly what the test consists of, the time for each component and what you’re allowed to do while taking the test would ease some of the stress or worry some test takers might have. The FAQ style the first chapter has is not only clear and concise but covers all the major questions a test taker would have and more.
130 different questions for chapter 2 (the start of the testing content) is a phenomenal number and so was 120 different questions for chapter 5. This amount of content makes this book well worth it as a study resource. The section, “Here's a little something extra for you”, is a nice bonus and a good reference to another GRE book for additional help. I think the provided strategies are super helpful. The only thing I would change would be to put the answers and explanations for each area of the test (text completion and sentence equivalence) right after that chapter such as after chapter 3 and after chapter 5 instead of both in chapter 6. Though a minor thing, it would be most efficient for someone studying to have access to it nearby and not having to flip all the way to the end of the book.
