If you love critters you will absolutely love this book! I read it in one sitting.

It’s a quick and easy way to learn and enjoy fascinating facts on a full range of critters: Squirrels, Frogs, Rabbits, Pigs, Goats, Hedgehogs, Chickens, Peacocks, Raccoons, and Porcupines. As well as an interesting read for any adult, it would also make a terrific book for a reluctant reader who needs to write a report on an animal of their choice for a school assignment. Students that enjoy research will also find the book of interest as certainly not all books include Squirrel Jokes, Frog Puns, Rabbit Puns, Quotes about Pigs, or Goat Puns and Jokes.

One of the most fascinating things I learned was a fun fact about the squired scene in the 2005 remake of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” I also had no idea there was a bridge named after a squirrel or that there’s a Squirrel Fest every August in the same area. As you can tell I loved the section on squirrels the most probably because the squirrels in our neighborhood use our front porch as a runway strip – flowerbed to a 2-step run to a mad dash across the back of the porch and a flying leap into the flowerbed on the other side to cross the driveway at the shortest distance to the neighbor’s house for another porch dash - and then the return a few hours later. The cat has the primary view and announces each crossing with her chitters and chirps.

Regardless of which section becomes your favorite, each page of fact or fun pun or joke has another wonderful picture of the amazing critters sharing many of the different species of each of the critters in this offering. If you love animals, if simply can’t be missed. ( )
