Grady is a new attending surgeon at Rivers Community Hospital.She meets Blaise (who grew up in the area), on her first day (or rather night) when she comes down to the ER on a consult. There are a bunch of sparks that fly between them, but, Blaise has stuff in her past that makes their relationship very, very stop and go. And Grady isn't totally perfect in the past issues department either.

There was also more with Blake, Margie, and we get to meet more fully all their friends, including Taylor, who is Blaise's daughter. There was also some good background stuff with Flann and Abby also.

It was a fun read, and a sort of comfort read. Catching up with the Rivers Hospital community (as well as the newbies too).
