Wie immer bei diesem Autorenduo wahrscheinlich für viele Erwachsene amüsant, aber eigentlich nicht gerade kindgerecht. Und wie immer bei diesem Autorenduo ein interessantes Thema, aber völlig vergurkt. Ein Superwurm, der alle retten kann - ja, das hört sich ja schon interessant an. Leider werden die "Feinde" des Wurms als böse Tiere dargestellt, und am Schluß werden sie geknebelt auf einer Müllkippe gelassen. Solche Inhalte sind pädagogisch einfach grauenvoll und vor so etwas sollten die Kinder verschont werden. Die Aufgaben des Regenwurms in der Natur kommen nicht ansatzweise vor, also in keinster Weise lehrreich, sondern eher noch kinderseelenschädigend. Es gibt genug schöne Kinderbücher! ( )

Superworm performs super feats for all his friends, but then Wizard Lizard captures Superworm and forces him to dig for treasure - but Superworm's friends team up to free him. Another great Donaldson/Scheffler story, told in rhyme. ( )

SUPERWORM contains all of the ingredients for a beloved picture book: a wonderful story that children can relate to, a hero they can root for, a villain to scare them a little bit, and of course, a happy ending.
