Bridget, forever protected by her grandmother, was to marry a man with no scruples. He was a womanizer and was having an affair of many years with an older woman. When he was murdered (by the other woman) Bridget was cast as the murderer by his staff & aunt. Dr. John rider was mysterious much of the time. It was discovered and told to Bridget that John was deeply in love with her and had been for many years. ( )
