I think I like the Adventuress better, but I dig Audrey Niffenegger's mind. ( ) The title and the picture on the cover lead you to believe the story is something other than it is. It's using the second definition of incestuous. in·ces·tu·ous 2. (of human relations generally) excessively close and resistant to outside influence. From the Afterword: "I call the books I make visual novels to acknowledge a debt to Lynd Ward, whose "woodcut novel" Gods' Man: A Novel in Woodcuts was the first book of this kind I ever saw, and to differentiate my books from graphic novels.
