A collection of Greek myths retold by Anne Rockwell. These myths show the relationships between the Greek Gods and the mortals living on Earth. Some myths explain how the world was created while other show the power and control of the Gods.

Classroom connection: These stories could be used at many grade levels as an introduction to Greek Mythology. It can be used with other versions of the same stories to make comparison of interpretations. This would also be a good companion to the young adult novel The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. ( )
